Bigger is always better!

Here is a pair of platform heels that I picked up while in Nuremberg. I find that I am incredibly attracted to the platform variety of shoes. They are damn sexy and always make a statement - even if it's a jeans and t-shirt kinda day.

So I have a lot of posting to do! I have been slacking so much that I now have dozens of new thrift finds / wants to post of your viewing pleasure. This is a bag that I found at a local thrift shop along with my Nashion partener in crime, Alyson. Perfect for a lap top, drawing pads, more shopping...

Coming to you from the land of WTF...

Some of the best things you find at the thrift stores are not the treasures, but the WTF items. I have found that I have trouble going with my friend Carolyn because we giggle waaaaaaaaay too much. She also likes to scare me with the creepy dolls that are reminiscent of this:




In the realm of WTF, I hereby proclaim this the most WTF item I have ever encountered in all of my pillaging. Behold!
So, let's review. We have a large plastic "frame" with center missing. At the bottom there are angels reading what I assume is the Bible. On the sides we have 2 unicorns. In the center, the earth. Clearly this must be how the world was created.

Now I must find an equally amazing photo to put in the most amazing frame of ALL TIME.

This is one of the best pieces of jewelery I have found in the last decade. My built in homing devices spotted it upon entering the store. Not sure of the era, but I'm guessing '40's. If anyone has a better guess on it's age, I'd love to hear it. It's made of copper, and I have worn it damn near every day since I found it. $12.99

Some times I feel like I may have stolen some of the wardrobe from 9 to 5.

Little Faux Lace Dress

I found this cute little faux lace dress with the original tags still on. The neck and armholes have the cute bias cut exposed edge that frays a little. $7.99
