homing device kicks in again

So I was killing time and went into Payless Shoes for some shoelaces for the last pair of shoes I posted. (note shoes have a HUGE gap between the laces which makes my foot look funny. My feet aren't THAT wide, but if something is for a narrow foot they don't fit. The BC shoes in the last post or SUPER comfy so I decided to keep them.)

Last month I had gone looking for these shoes, since a co-worker of mine had them on in Yellow:

I tried to shove my feet in them but they wouldn't fit in the strap across my foot. Wah wah. So today when I went in, dead center in the middle of the isle were the shoes. In a wide size, which fit great. When they rang up they wer only $8. I sear I have a homing device for this kind of shit. Fingers crossed they don't maim my feet tomorrow.

New Shoes

I would feel bad for buying these, but a few pairs of my black flats have made their way to shoe heaven. And they were only $26 w/free shipping and they are leather. Weeeeeeee! (sometimes it pays off to lurk the clearance on Amazon)

And with that $16 I saved not buying Jeffrey Campbell shoes...

I spent at K-Mart on lace curtains. Yes, K-mart, yes, lace curtains. I am such an old lady.

I'm also not smart enough to know how to steal the photo off their zoom thing so click here.

If you zoom in the actually have a really cute repeat in them, scalloped sides and edges. I'm putting something OVER them. I needed 4, and at $10.99/panel I can't get fabric that cheap. (also my philosophy that if I am buying cheap shit made in China, I am buying it as cheap as I can find). Don't worry I didn't buy the valence, I am making one to go with the heavy curtains that I can draw closed.

Also, it's been a while, I BOUGHT A HOUSE.

Yes that is correct. Hence the lack of entries. Now when I'm shopping it's for more home things than clothing. Also because I have half the closet space and just took 1/3 of my clothing to Consign Couture.

That being said, all that no can has paid off. I'm still no can has because I have a mortgage payment, but at least I'm not living in a building with drug dealers, and a floor I was scared of falling through onto said drug dealer neighbors. So far I have spent all my $$ on re-plumbing the house, and the new window that the above curtains are covering. (note to future home buyers, windows are really expensive, but at least I'm not worried about my dogs going through the cracked glass after the squirrels taunting them in the front yard).

I'm cured, I have proof.

FOR REALS. I left a pair of Jeffrey Campbell heels at the Nordstrom Rack.

Now you may ask, "why is this amazing??"

Because they were $16. Really.

See? I'm CURED!

glitter shoes!

And they are MINE, all MINE! Thank you/Ihateyou e-bay.

$19 later and they are even prettier in person.

If I only wore Poetic License for the rest of my life I'd be a happy girl. Now if some damn stores in Portland would just stock them.

Jeffrey Campbell is a god; stop me now!

Today I saw these in the window of Imelda's.
OMG, I love them.

I could very easily spend every cent of my hard earned cash on Jeffrey Campbell

Hello

My name is Sabrina. I am a shopaholic. It's something I have been working on for quite some time now. Most recently, I have fallen victim to the ease of online shopping. Since my life has been increasingly more busy I don't like to actually go shopping like I used to but it's so exciting to come home to a pair of shoes waiting for you on your front stoop. Alas, there are bigger and more exciting things I would eventually like to spend my money on so it's time to get serious and cut back on the fancy shoe purchases. I want to travel the world and stilettos are not practical for sightseeing in India, walking your dogs in the rain or building your future house. SO let the recovering begin.
